AIOD Deutschland e. V.

The AIOD is a panel that enables the national and international exchange of experiences in the areas of trauma surgery and orthopaedics, as well as the improvement in the treatment of musculoskeletal system-related illnesses.

AIOD Germany e. V. was established in 1991. It developed from the "Association Internationale pour l'Ostéosynthèse Dynamique". The AIOD has an international network. With almost 300 members in Germany alone, the AIOD is one of the pioneers in new fracture treatment methods.

OTC Foundation (Osteosynthesis and Trauma Care Foundation)

International umbrella organisation (formerly AIOD International) for the transnational exchange of research findings and experience. The foundation, dedicated to the advancement of osteosynthesis and trauma care through research, teaching and clinical practice, is a global network of national associations, whose members meet once a year to share personal experiences at an internal, international conference.

AGA stands for Gesellschaft für Arthroskopie und Gelenkchirurgie [the German society for arthroscopy and joint surgery]
It was founded in 1983 with the acronym AGA as the German-speaking consortium for arthroscopy as an association of forward-thinking German-speaking surgeons and orthopaedists with the objective of establishing and developing arthroscopy as a new and minimally invasive procedure.
The arthroscopy courses of the AIOD are recognised as sponsorship courses of AGA.

 

 

Li-La Licht und Lachen für kranke Kinder.

(Li-La light and laughter for sick children. Efficiency in medicine)

The Li-La organisation deals with specific problems relating to childhood injuries. Established by paediatric traumatologists, paediatric surgeons and paediatricians, the association has set itself the objective of the further development and promotion of medical treatment approaches that are appropriate for children. These include adequate treatment and the psycho-social aspects of healthcare.

DVSE course sponsorship

Die Aufgabe der Deutschen Vereinigung für Schulter- und Ellenbogenchirurgie e.V. ist es, die ethische Ausübung einer evidenzbasierten, hochwertigen und kostentransparenten Medizin auf ihrem Fachgebiet zu unterstützen.
Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung der Wissenschaft auf dem Gebiet der Erkrankungen und Verletzungen von Schulter- und Ellenbogengelenk in Forschung, Lehre und Krankenversorgung, einschließlich der Rehabilitation bei diesen Krankheiten.

The elbow courses of the AIOD are conducted under the sponsorship of DVSE.

 

 

GFFC course sponsorship

The German Society for Foot and Ankle Surgery [GFFC] was founded in 1996 to provide ongoing continuing education regarding the latest developments in conservative and surgical treatments of foot disorders. Our motto: From the practice to the practice. Our goal: To manage and ensure quality at the highest level for the benefit of our patients.

The AIOD foot course in Lübeck, Germany on 10/11 March recognises GFFC as its sponsor.
